Declan holds an MSc and an MBA. He has worked in healthcare since 1992, predominantly in Assisted Human Reproduction (AHR) as a Clinical Scientist. Over the last decade, he has been CEO in serial start-ups in AHR services provision, pharmaceutical wholesale/distribution, human gamete selection device, and obstetrics ultrasound service-provision network. Declan held an honorary university clinical tutor role until recently with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Over the past six years, he has held the position of Business Development Executive at the European group FutureLife, and contributed significantly to the group’s growth and development strategy as their Chief Strategic Officer on the senior management team in 2022. Declan is also a consultant in the acquisition of clinics for private equity firms. Declan has recently stepped down from the C-suite of FutureLife and will now concentrate in DKMS Capital

Matěj graduated from Charles University, law faculty in Prague. After his studies in 1996, he started working in healthcare. From then he began his continuing journey in women´s health, firstly as CEO at GENNET- Genetics and Assisted Reproduction Centre in Prague, which his father founded. In 2010 Matěj founded GENNET City Fertility in London. Matěj helped GENNET to grow into one of the most successful clinic in the Czech Republic. After almost 20 years in his own business Matěj became the CEO of FutureLife in 2015 and led the process of consolidation and improvement of fertility clinical services in Czech and Slovak republics. As Chief Executive Officer Matěj contributed to the expansion of FutureLife into 10 countries in Europe. In 2022, Matěj has stepped down from his roles in FutureLife and from 2023 he concentrate in DKMS Capital.
